If your dock already has shoreline based power approved by the Corps, all systems discussed below are available. If that is not the case, the Watercraft Asset and Trespass Protection are available, and (under some conditions) Wifi.
We can provide solar power in two versions; 120 Volt AC, and 12- 48 Volts DC. Either of these systems can power all our offerings
To support Video, Lighting, Lifts, and pressure washers, etc., Typical 15-30 amp 120 volt power is required. This would be similar to a system for a residence with GFCI and will include a sign-off from a licensed electrician
To support Video, Lighting, Lifts, and Battery Chargers, solar based with battery array up is simpler, cheaper and sufficient for all we offer. According to The Army Corps of Engineers- This is safer and preferred:
Dock owners may now use solar DC power to provide electrical service to a dock. Solar power does not require recertification every five years. “Not only is solar a clean, safe energy source, it also minimizes impacts to public lands by elimination the need to trench-in-traditional power lines,” Sandy Campbell, natural resources manager at Hartwell Lake, said. “Solar power eliminates possible shock hazards for swimmers. It also eliminates inconveniences for dock owners needing to ‘chase water’ when reservoir levels recede.”

If you do not have constant power, you can:
TSystem Based Cameras can be viewed anytime day or night from the system app on your phone. The images are sent to the cloud via Wifi (that we can install) These cameras will automatically store images of events when alarms or activities are detected. Built-in microphone allows you to hear and communicate with the dock.
We can usually broadcast the Wifi from your home to your dock. We will need to do some wiring in the home to a point with a line of sight to your dock. The range can be several miles, the limiting issue is foliage from plants and tree leaves. There is usually a solution that will work during the most vibrant growing season. A site survey (no charge) will be required to determine feasibility.
We can install LED floodlights within Corps guidelines to illuminate the dock while working or entertaining. These same lights can be turned on in response to a trespass or an alarm. The lights are also controlled wirelessly from an app on your phone.
Using SONOS wireless technology we can stream music from almost any source to your dock to weatherproof speakers and control it all from an app on your phone.
Almost false alarm proof, an extension cord-like cable is threaded through the steering wheel of your boat and similar points on other watercraft, boxes, closets and other valuable assets on the dock. This cable starts and ends at a tamper proof box bolted to the dock. The box protects a wireless transmitter with a range of up to a mile where it is monitored by a control system in the house that is armed and disarmed via a touchscreen and smartphone app. The box can be bypassed with a key. An alarm will activate a siren/strobe on the dock, notify you, and notify a professional monitoring center.
